Having It All at The Manors Celebrity Place

Have you ever been handed a brochure or a flyer for a house and lot or a high-rise condominium? If you shop at any supermarket or visit the mall regularly, you probably have. And, despite dreaming of one day buying your own home, you take one look at the colorful leaflet and toss it regretfully in the trash while wondering, when would the right one come along?

Atty. Maria Elena Go-Francisco, who owns a law firm in Ortigas, jumped at the chance to own a home in The Manors. Having a stressful job, Atty. "I've known about DM Consunji for a long time. When I found out that The Manors was built by DMCI Homes, I did not want to look at any other developments any more. I knew that if it was made by DMCI, it's good," Atty. Go-Francisco beamed.

Aside from the noteworthy track record of the developer, The Manors' location, which was still conveniently close to Tandang Sora, had also been an important factor in her decision to purchase a three-bedroom unit.

"I have an ailing mother and also a brother who has a medical condition," she explained. "I need to be as close to them as possible so that I can be there almost immediately when something happens."

Apart from this, she already had a membership with The Celebrity Club prior to purchasing a home in The Manors. She knew that the advantages of being a member in the Club were enormous and so did not have to think twice about her decision.

What she thought about was the unit itself, she specifically chose the three-bedroom corner unit for its view of the Quezon City skyline. DMCI Homes took care of   renovating the unit of Atty. Go-Francisco according to her specifications and then she was able to move in January.

These days, Atty. Go-Francisco spends quiet mornings on her balcony. "I welcome God's blessings each day over there," she smiles, pointing at the terrace. Sipping coffee while surfing the internet, it is indeed a pleasant way for her to start her busy day.

Being a lawyer with a flourishing practice means having a lot of clients and needing to meet with them even if it is after office hours. Atty. Go-Francisco says her membership at The Celebrity Club often comes in handy when she needs a place to meet with her clients. "We meet at the restaurant. It's convenient for me because I live here."

She admits that because of her busy schedule, she is yet to enjoy the sports amenities of The Club but related that her children take advantage of the Olympic-size swimming pool and the other world-class sports facilities instead.

Atty. Go-Francisco and her friends are looking forward to holding many parties and countless get-togethers at the Manors. "We  can sing (videoke) to our hearts content at last," she laughed.
