DMCI Homes honored for supporting Parañaque socialized housing initiatives

The Local Housing Development Office of Parañaque City has recognized DMCI Homes President Alfredo Austria for the company’s support of the city’s socialized housing initiatives.

Butch Mendizabal, DMCI Homes' Corporate Communications Manager, accepted the plaque of appreciation on behalf of Mr. Austria from Parañaque City officials led by Mayor Eric Olivarez during the flag-raising ceremony at Parañaque City Hall.

In partnership with Gawad Kalinga, DMCI Homes, through its Kaakbay sa Pamayanan Corporate Social Responsibility initiative, helped build homes for 93 families in the Manggahan Kawayanan Village, a 2.7-hectare community in Green Marcelo, Sucat.

The houses, measuring 20 to 25 square meters, can be expanded with a second floor, providing families secure and comfortable living spaces.
