DMCI Homes’ Kaakbay Fun Run helps children with special needs and pediatric care

In another meaningful celebration of its 25th anniversary, Quadruple A developer DMCI Homes recently hosted a fun run at its Acacia Estates residential township in Taguig City to raise funds for families of children with special needs and those requiring critical pediatric care. 

Aligned with the company’s 25th anniversary theme of interdependence, the event showcased the collective efforts of DMCI Homes employees, homeowners, and partners in fostering healthier communities. 

Held last November 10, 2024, the “DMCI Homes 25th Anniversary: Kaakbay Fun Run,” saw the participation of around 1,000 DMCI Homes employees and Acacia Estates residents who competed in 2K and 5K categories. 

The initiative was organized in partnership with Project SpeedMom Livelihood, underscoring DMCI Homes’ commitment to its Kaakbay sa Kalusugan Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative.  

All proceeds were donated to Project SpeedMom Livelihood to benefit underprivileged families. 

With the inspiring presence of DMCI Group Chairman Isidro Consunji and DMCI Homes executives, led by President Alfredo Austria, the celebration was filled with community spirit. 

Participants began their day with an energizing Zumba session before embarking on the fun run with friends and family. 

Adding to the festive atmosphere, partner booths offered refreshments, wellness services, and fitness gear from brands such as Better Than Clothing & Painting, K-Chase Korean Street Food, Feetures, Goodr, The Coffee Library, Lolo Lemon, Bacsilog, Fitbar, Pocari Sweat, Mogu Mogu, The Coffee Series, Ecyy Sports Hub, Unilab, and Cocolife. 

The Kaakbay Fun Run was spearheaded by DMCI Homes’ Accounting, Documents and Inventory Control, Credit and Collection, Financing, and Treasury Departments, with support from Human Resources, Marketing, General Services, Construction, and the DMCI Homes Property Management Corporation.
