DMCI Homes President Austria attributes high sales to DMCI Homes' culture of quality

DMCI Homes President Alfredo R. Austria said the company's hot-selling properties is a result of the country's first Quadruple A builder-developer's continuing campaign to instill a culture of quality among its employees.

Austria made the pronouncement during the relaunching of the company's select quality programs and awarding of winners of employee-engaging projects recently as he revealed that DMCI Homes is poised to hit its P26 billion 12-month sales target this year in just the first half of 2017.

This year's edition of Sikat, Kapit-bisig and Tigbayon (Enhancement of Existing Design Features) were launched while quarterly winners of Tumpak and Angat as well as employees who recently passed the board examinations were all recognized during the event held last June 8 at the Multipurpose Hall of DMCI Homes Corporate Center.

"It really speaks volumes because it only means that a lot of people believe in DMCI Homes. Many people believe DMCI Homes offers the best value because the money they will be spending will get the best quality in return," Austria said in his speech.

Siena Park Residences, managed by Jonalyn Bendo (middle), won first place in Category B of the Angat awards. She is joined in the photo (L-R) by DPMC Operations Manager Frederick Rapiñan, DPMC SVP Enrico Wong, DPMC Area Manager for South projects Mat Abadier Jr. and ARA

"So it is very important, moving forward, for us to further cultivate our promise of quality," he stressed.

The DMCI Homes president thus lauded the latest batch of awardees of the company's quality programs as well as employees who recently passed their respective licensure examinations for their unceasing drive for self-improvement.

"Quality begins in each one of us. We all have our own weaknesses, we all have our shortcomings. We all need to constantly improve ourselves to be able to render better service, better quality products especially in a very competitive atmosphere that we have in today's world," Austria told the awardees and board passers.

Spearheaded by the Quality Council, all quality programs primarily aim to inculcate a culture of quality in the company and at the same time encourage employees to emulate DMCI Homes' core values on integrity, excellence, customer orientation and interdependence.
