They say first impressions are everything and DMCI Homes’ Brio Tower development in Guadalupe Viejo, Makati City has certainly made a good one on the first batch of residents who accepted their units recently.
Ma. Clara Reyes, for one, could not contain her emotions when she talked about her experience of seeing her one-bedroom unit at the single-tower resort-inspired development for the first time in November 2018.
“When we saw the unit, it was way beyond my expectations. Ang ganda ng furnishings, ‘yung countertop, ‘yung shower, ‘yung bedroom. Basta lahat,” Reyes shared.
“Likewise, I was so happy with the facilities and with the amenities. Lobby pa lang ang ganda na. The turnover staff were very friendly. Tapos mga guards, okay din. Maganda siya (Brio Tower). Na-exceed niya ‘yung expectations ko,” she continued.
Reyes, who is a dentist by profession, has been eagerly awaiting the turnover of her unit in Brio Tower which she passes by everyday on her way to work in Mandaluyong City.
“Nakaka-excite kasi every morning dinadaanan ko yung Brio. Ayan na, ayan na siya! Ang bilis ng turnover sobrang happy ako,” she said of the early turnover of the project which started last October 2018, 13 months ahead of the November 2019 target occupancy schedule.
Though it was her sister, Cecile, who originally wanted to buy a unit in Brio Tower, Reyes said she grabbed the opportunity to get one when a slot opened for a one-bedroom unit in the sold-out development.
“It was my sister Cecile who originally wanted to buy a unit in Brio but she did not get the unit that she wanted. She asked me if I wanted to try my luck on a one-bedroom unit, and the rest, as they say, is history,” Reyes beamed.
“I live in Manila with my mom and siblings at home so naisip ko lang na after magkaroon ng kaunting blessings, i-invest ko siya. So I invested here with my sister Tina Reyes-Aguas who resides in the US,” she disclosed.
With her unit in Brio Tower, Reyes said she not only fulfilled her dream of living in the country’s financial capital but also got her wish for a laid-back, resort-inspired suburban living.
“Ang gusto talaga namin sa DMCI (Homes) ay ‘yung resort-inspired living kasi pagpasok mo pa lang ang lawak na ng space. Pagpasok mo sa unit ang lawak ng floor (area). ‘Yung pool maluwag. Sa ibang condo kasi punumpuno. Tapos may Sky Patio pa every five floors,” she related.
But along with the impressive resort-inspired amenities, facilities and architectural design, Reyes is more than happy to have found a developer that shares her vision of building communities, being an active member of the Servants of the Lord’s Vineyard, which is a charismatic community that holds weekly prayer meetings in Don Bosco, Makati City.
“That appeals to me. Napaka-blessed ko na nakakakuha kami ng unit dito. Nadagdagan pa ‘yung reasons why I feel blessed,” said Reyes after learning about DMCI Homes’ vision for its residential condo projects during a community fellowship for unit owners.
“I think I will have a fun-filled life and a blessed time here in Brio Tower. I really feel at home at na-affirm ‘yun because I would really like to be a part of a community,” she enthused.
