AJ says DMCI Homes definitely exceeded his expectations.
Owning a home was not in AJ Nilooban’s bucket list, but when he observed how times have evolved, he realized he needed to change his priorities.
For his first property, AJ who works as a site leader in a multinational I.T. firm, chose a condominium over a house and lot for a good reason: “It’s very hard to maintain a full house, at least for me.”

“This one exceeded my expectations,” he adds. “The Atherton is cozy. Hopefully, as I get more neighbors, the community gets built better. So far, we’re just a few here right now. I think we’ll all be happy with our decision.”

AJ honestly discloses that part of the reason he chose a DMCI Homes property was its price point. Before making the actual purchase, AJ looked at a number of units, both the ones on the high-end spectrum and the low-end part, and DMCI Homes, he says, was the “sweet spot.”
“I would say because they don’t shortchange you,” he says. “Just to give you a comparison: The competitor of this was offering a one-bedroom unit for the price of what I’m paying for a two-bedroom unit here. His advice to those who are planning to buy a unit? Do your research.
“I did a lot of reading, research, and I asked a lot of people who have condo units what to prepare and all that,” he shares.
“So when I finally said, ‘Yes,’ I knew that I would be okay to make the payments and eventually deal with the long-term demand. Research and invest in what you can because having something like this to grow old in is not a bad deal altogether. In fact, it’s a great set-up, and I’m personally really happy.”
