'Worth every centavo,' this loving mom says of her new DMCI Homes condo

Studies say moving into a new home is one of the most stressful life events with all the effort and planning that go with it.

Vanessa Ferrer, a mother of one, is thankful they didn’t get to experience this feeling when her family moved into their 2-bedroom unit in DMCI Homes’ Lumiere Residences project in Pasig City last November especially since it happened in the middle of the coronavirus pandemic.

Vanessa and her family moved into Lumiere Residences after living in a condominium in Rizal province for over a decade. “We decided to transfer to a new home because our old place was just a loft-type 1-bedroom unit. So nandu’n ‘yong happiness ko that I know the family that I’m leaving in my home, babalikan ko rin silang maayos pagkatapos ng work day ko,” she related.

Moreover, she also commended the PMO for minimizing face-to-face interactions by encouraging online transactions. She also appreciates the PMO’s efforts to keep the residents informed and engaged through regular community updates in various online channels that include the DMCI Communities App. “It’s very helpful especially for new residents like me,” she said.

“Isa pa sa mga na-appreciate ko is very active silang mag-encourage sa mga residents to join community programs, halimbawa kapag may blood donation. Mayroon din kaming masses online which is very helpful kasi hindi kami nakakalabas to go to church,” Vanessa shared.

Vanessa said she has a long list of things she loves most about their new home.

Vanessa said she could give more reasons why she considers her unit as a good investment but her greatest measure would still be the happiness felt by her family especially her son over their new home. “What I can advise to those families who would like to invest in a residential unit is to know the value of your long day and night of hard work. So kung mag-i-invest ka galing do’n sa pinaghirapan mo, make it worth every centavo na binibigay mo.”

“From convenience ng location, ‘yung comfort na ibinibigay sa ‘yo, to the security, to the kind of neighborhood, and of course ‘yung talagang ma e-enjoy ng family members mo kasi that’s what you’re really working for—mabigyan ng happiness ‘yung mga mahal mo sa buhay,” she pointed out.

“Kasi nu’ng kinuha ko ‘yung Lumiere, ang pinaka-worth it na nakita ko is ‘yung napangiti ko ‘yung mga family members ko especially ‘yung aming anak,” Vanessa said smiling.
