Quadruple A developer DMCI Homes has kicked off the Christmas season early this year with its annual gift-giving activity for the children living in the company's host community, Barangay Bangkal in Makati City.

For this year's edition of DMCI Homes Christmas Blowout, the theme centered on superheroes. Some employee volunteers dressed up as superheroes to delight over 70 children beneficiaries.

Snacks, games and treats were aplenty while members of the company chorale, Voices of Home, sang songs during the party held at the multi-purpose gym of the DMCI Homes Corporate Center.

The company has been doing this activity  since 2015 to give employees an opportunity to connect with kids living in the Bangkal community.

Captain America, Ironman, Captain Marvel and Thor showed up for the party to the delight of the kids as well as the employee volunteers.

"We want the kids here in our host community especially the underprivileged to have something to look forward to every Christmas time," Corporate Communications Manager Carlo Gahol said.

"We want them to have happy memories of their neighbor kuya, DMCI Homes, when they grow up," he added.

“We’d like to thank the management and employees of DMCI Homes for making this possible. I’m sure the kids will appreciate and remember your thoughtfulness and generosity,” Eusebio said.

First time employee volunteer Sophie Irah Chan said given the chance, she would love to join the activity again next year.

“I’ve always wanted to join talaga pero ngayon lang ako nagkaroon ng opportunity. I would like to participate again next time kasi very fulfilling and nakakagaan ng loob to see children happy because you get to help them and you get to spend time with them,” she related.
