DMCI Homes' Sheridan Towers partnered recently with Fujifilm Philippines for a special landscape photography workshop led by world-renowned travel photographer and Fujifilm Global Ambassador Elia Locardi.

Dubbed as Cityscape Live Shoot, the workshop is Fujifilm's first landscape photoshoot held last October 8 at the roof deck of Sheridan Towers, a picture-perfect venue for the workshop as it offers mesmerizing view of its surroundings.

Conveniently located in a strategic spot in Pasig City, the roof deck of the 41-level DMCI Homes property provides captivating landscapes of BGC, Ortigas, Makati City skyline as well as the awe-inspiring sight of the Laguna Lake, Mount Banahaw, Mount Makiling and Pasig River.  Sheridan Towers also offers a splendid view of sunrise and sunset.

The event started with a short talk and valuable tips from Locardi, who expressed appreciation to Sheridan Towers, most especially on the roof deck amenity, saying, "This rooftop is made for people. It was made to enjoy the view."

Coming to Manila for the first time, Locardi, known for travelling places in search for the best shot of the area, observes that a lot of rooftops or decks are not particularly made for people to view the area surrounding it. He also admired the building's engineering, offering a 360-degree view, complete with seating areas that are meant for residents to actually enjoy the sight

"There isn't really much attention given to creating a space where people can enjoy. A lot of rooftops in cities are just made to hold signs, billboards, or different things like that. It (Sheridan Towers' roof deck) has an adequate railing, there's not any glass in the way, so it's an unobstructed view," the American travel photographer said before some 30 workshop participants including hobbyists, enthusiasts and professional photographers.

The weather was initially a challenge, but once the Live Shoot commenced, the sunset offered a perfect blue hour shot, much to the delight of both participants and ambassadors. With the view offered by Sheridan Towers, photos from the workshop came out splendid.

Some of Fujifilm's roster of professional photographers also graced the event including Fujifilm Influencer for Landscape Win Magsino, who agreed that the place was perfect for the event. He admired the property's views, saying, "As a photographer, this is something I would look for in a property," while also approving of the property's accessibility to every major part of the city. Other Fujifilm ambassadors in the event are X-Photographers Jan Gonzales, Niko Villegas, and Rommel Bundalian, as well as photographers Ricky LadiaG-nie Arambulo and Nicco Valenzuela.

The event was also joined by some of DMCI Homes' employees and resident who were also into landscape photography.

DMCI Homes Flair Towers resident and one of the event participants, Joshua Cu, stated that DMCI Homes communities give him a lot of photographic options and chance to practice his hobby without leaving the comforts of his home.

"It [My community] does get me inspired to do more photography and to take more beautiful shots," he says. Cu favors DMCI Homes' efforts of giving residents and shutterbugs like him more chances to hone his skills in photography with community photo contests like Capture'.

Sheridan Towers has recently turned over units to homeowners a year earlier than expected. Located along Sheridan Street, the property is one of DMCI Homes' proud developments in Pasig City that is accessible to major CBDs and places of interest. With DMCI Homes' quality engineering, the property is seamlessly designed to offer distinctive views of the cityscape from all angles.
