Quadruple A developer DMCI Homes recently turned over cash donations to the Gentle Hands, Inc. and the Philippine Children’s Medical Center (PCMC) in Quezon City in support of their important projects.
DMCI Homes Corporate Communications Manager Carlo Gahol said the donations came from the proceeds of DMCI Homes employees’ Christmas donation drive last December 2021.
“In our own little way, we want to let our neighbors in the host communities of our projects know that we are one with them in these challenging times through our various ‘Kaakbay’ CSR initiatives,” Gahol said of DMCI Homes’ umbrella CSR program “Kaakbay” which aims to foster good relations with the communities where the company operates.
“With the help of our employees and residents of our condominium projects, we continue to support government and non-government organizations to help address the health and well-being of our surrounding communities especially of children,” he added.
Gentle Hands, Inc., a child and youth welfare agency in 27 F. Castillo Street, Project 4, Cubao, Quezon City, is located near DMCI Homes’ condominium developments, The Oriana, Infina Towers, and The Orabella.
The PCMC, on the other hand, is a 200-bed capacity tertiary hospital located in Quezon Avenue, Quezon City with a mandate to provide pediatric care, offer training programs for medical and allied health care providers, and be a center in clinical research.
The hospital is located near DMCI Homes’ developments like The Crestmont in Panay Avenue and its upcoming project along Commonwealth Avenue, The Erin Heights.
