DMCI Homes, sister firms feted by GCash

Quadruple A developer DMCI Homes and its sister firms, D.M. Consunji, Inc. and Semirara Mining and Power Corporation (SMPC), were recently honored with the “Innovation & Growth Award” by mobile wallet provider GCash for their pioneering efforts in the use of digital financial products.

The award was presented during the GCash Digital Excellence Awards last March 31, 2022.

“On behalf of DMCI Homes, and our sister companies, D.M. Consunji, Inc. and SMPC, I am honored and grateful to accept this Innovation & Growth Award from Globe and GCash,” Jan Venturanza, DMCI Homes Vice President for Marketing, said in accepting the award during the exclusive virtual event.

“The whole DMCI Group under the leadership of our beloved chairman, Isidro Consunji, is honored to be recognized for our efforts to continuously look for ways to make everything more convenient and seamless for our company, employees, and our customers,” he added.

A partnership between GCash and the DMCI Group has enabled thousands of employees and residents of DMCI Homes’ condominium communities to adopt cashless solutions that are crucial during the pandemic. 

Via GCash Enterprise, new and existing DMCI employees, which total over 18,000, are now able to quickly receive their salaries through GCash Mastercard.

The platform has also made it easier for DMCI companies to onboard new hires, as they can be included in the payroll hassle-free through a quick application on GCash Powerpay Plus.

Residents of DMCI Homes communities, on the other hand, can now use their GCash accounts to conveniently pay for their association dues without leaving their homes, easily top up their accounts via cash-in machines deployed within the properties, and pay for goods via a safe, contactless option in nearby stores.
