For former Canon PH Ambassador and professional photographer Jay Jallorina, there are no other residential buildings in Metro Manila that have better top floor views than those built by DMCI Homes.
“DMCI Homes condo locations are perfect for cityscape photography,” Jay excitedly says in an interview done for this article.
“For instance, Brixton Place is situated across Pasig River at just the right distance from the cluster of skyscrapers that make up the spectacular Bonifacio Global City skyline. The space between is just right for photographing an unencumbered, sweeping panoramic view of the dynamic BGC cityscape. Unlike other buildings that are too close to other skyscrapers of the skyline, DMCI Homes properties give you a sense of seeing the ‘forest instead of the trees,’ he adds.
Jay observes that DMCI Homes properties have “people-friendly roof decks” which let residents enjoy the stunning city views without having to leave home. “Roof decks of DMCI Homes high-rise condominiums are designed to be view decks - so it's easy to linger, relax and look out to the sprawling scenery below.”
“While typical buildings have machinery and tight spaces to navigate on their rooftops, DMCI Homes roof decks are like gardens and parks in the sky. They are welcoming for its residents and guests. It also makes photography safe and easy to do,” Jay points out.
In terms of having the best roof deck views, Jay names these four DMCI Homes buildings as his favorites. Read why they made it on his list.
“My favorite would easily be Torre de Manila because it has a breathtaking 360-degree view of the Metro. Being centrally located, you can photograph almost all the major historical and modern landmarks and features of Metro Manila from its roof deck” Jay shares.

Next would be Brixton Place and Sheridan Towers because they have the perfect viewpoint of BGC - the most modern and dynamic urban center in Manila today.
Tivoli Garden Residences

“Another favorite is Tivoli Garden Residences. I love how you can capture the Makati Skyline and use Pasig River to frame it as well as the Makati-Mandaluyong Bridge as a leading line drawing the eyes towards the cityscape,”
Jay in partnership with DMCI Homes, recently conducted a cityscape photography workshop dubbed as “Metroscapes” at the roof decks of Brixton Place, Prisma Residences, and Torre De Manila.
Participants like Jo Serrano and Andrew Gorriceta were ecstatic to share their experience.
“It was fun! I enjoyed shooting the cityscapes around the metro. There is something new to learn and I get to meet like-minded people whenever there are workshops like these,” Jo beams.
Andrew, on the other hand, related that one of the factors he considered in choosing a unit in his DMCI Homes condo is for the nice views. “I love how I am able to take an amazing sunset shot from my balcony and just walk up to the roofdeck if I want to capture the sunrise.”
“Seeing a bird’s eye view of the city gives me a different perspective of city life, which everyone typically experiences from street level. Aside from photography, I also like the roof deck views at night. It’s a good space to relax my mind and transition between a hectic day at work and going to rest,” Andrew, a resident of Prisma Residences, shares.
