Infina Towers | May 29, 2022
Kenneth and Princess Olesco married in May of 2021, and later in October, they moved into their new home, Infina Towers, along the bustling Aurora Boulevard in Quezon City.
This great new chapter in their life happened because of early planning, and open communication between the couple throughout their relationship.
Planning ahead
Way back in 2018, Kenneth, 30, and Princess, 28, were living in a rented apartment with their family, somewhere near Aurora Boulevard. At the time, they were already talking about getting married, but no formalities happened yet. One thing they did formally do, though, was to look for a place that they could call their own.
“Since no’ng start ng relationship namin, boyfriend-girlfriend pa lang, longterm goal na talaga namin na in the future mayroon kaming sariling space,” Princess recalls.
“Nag-hunting kami ng mga possible na sites na puwede naming maging future home. Nakita namin ’yong pros kung mag-condo kami. Accessible siya sa basic establishments, malapit siya sa public transportation, and at the same time, puwede kami i-visit anytime ng family members namin since both kami close sa relatives namin.”
At the time, Kenneth says, the condominium units were sold at lower prices because there wasn’t any news yet about the upcoming subway station.
What’s good about their relationship, Princess says, is that they are both always willing to compromise, which is a good thing to have when couples want to invest in something.
Choosing the right developer
One day, while the couple was on their way to Antipolo, they saw a vacant lot, with a sign that says, “DMCI Homes.” They got curious, especially since the place was near their home. The name of the property was Infina Towers.
Before that, they had already been to a lot of properties, handled by various developers. They had also visited showrooms, and other houses and lots that were for sale. After a lot of pondering, they finally decided on acquiring Infina Towers.
Princess says, “Parehas kaming city life ang kinalakihan namin. We wanted a place nga din na malapit sa families namin. At the same time, accessible sa lahat, like basic na kailangan na establishments: hospitals, churches, groceries, and even schools.”
She also cites accessibility to public transportation as one of the advantages of owning a unit at Inifina Towers: “Kahit na hindi kami mag-drive pauwi sa bahay, puwede naming i-maximize ang paggamit ng LRT, mga taxi, jeep.” She adds that they are even close to carinderias, a grocery store, and other fast-food chains.
Lastly, according to Princess, it was the name of the developer – DMCI Homes - that sealed the deal. “Kilala ’yong brand and reputation ng DMCI Homes. We make sure na magiging worth it ang value ng hard-earned money naming,” she shared.
“We wanted a place na ma-maximize namin talaga, like amenities, facilities. And, gusto namin ’yong place na secure kami, and alam namin na iniisip din nila welfare and safety namin. We wanted a place na aalagaan din kami and bibigyan ng value ’yong pinaghirapan namin,” Princess concluded.
Moving in
It was like a dream come true for the couple when they moved in last October 2021. They described the process as “smooth.”
So far, they are loving their new home, specially the Lumiventt® Technology. Kenneth sounds excited when talking about it: “Nakapaganda palang feature kasi napakalamig sa loob ng unit. Pag lumabas ka ng pinto, nakapahangin niya. Di tulad sa iba na napuntahan namin na paglabas mo, pinto agad. Napakainit sa loob,” he shared.
Other than the design technology, they also love the nature-inspired design, the roof deck or atrium, and the pool. Princess says these amenities were very helpful during the pandemic, especially in keeping her mental health in check.
One thing that they were happily surprised to see was the planned co-working space, which according to them, is a big deal for people who are working from home.
“Kung work-from-home ka, very relaxing and professional the environment,” Kenneth says.
Moreover, they love the fact that their new home is pet-friendly, being fur-parents themselves. “Very flexible sila,” Princess says. “They really allow na makasama mo mga fur babies mo.”
Sound decision
Now that they’ve settled in, the more they are certain that they’ve made the right decision. In the future, when they decide to move out, they say they could also rent out the place easily because of its prime location.
And for the young couples out there, Kenneth has this to say: “Start young sa investment. Habang bata ka, ang pagbili ng condo unit parang pagbili rin ng lupa. Habang tumatagal, mas tumataas ang value. Kung mag-start ka nang maaga, mas mababa pa ang value niya. And once dumating ang time na ite-turnover na, you can move in or ibenta ’yong unit at a higher price. Kung gusto mong kumita o gusto mong matirahan, okay siya.”
Princess agrees, and adds, “It doesn’t mean maging impulsive. Take your time. You have to list the pros and cons of buying a condo unit. What is convenient for you? Location, proximity to work, structure, and brand of the developer na kukunin.”
“You don’t want to invest your hard-earned money sa mga hindi gano’n kakilala na developer,” she points out.
