DMCI Homes’ Sheridan Towers development in Pasig City, recently partnered with the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) to facilitate a weeklong national ID registration for residents and staff of the condominium community.
The activity, which was held from October 11-16 at Sheridan Towers’ North Tower Open Lounge, aimed to register 200 condo residents and staff per day to support the government’s drive to establish a single national ID for all Filipinos and resident aliens.
Sheridan Towers’ Community Development Council and Property Management Office teamed up for the activity to make the registration process convenient and safe for the residents and staff of the community.
Ms. Evangeline Daquilanea, a member of the Sheridan Towers’ Community Development Council, said the residents appreciated the convenient and efficient process of registration that was done in the comfort of their community especially at this time of a pandemic.
“It’s a big relief kasi not much effort from me nandito na 'yung PSA to be able to do that. Imagine 'yung difficulty by having to go to another site na pipila ako ng pagkahaba-haba and of course lalabas ako ng Sheridan so that will be hassle on my part. Ito napaka-convenient,” Ms. Daquilanea said.
“We had an overwhelming response from the residents. Very thankful sila, pati ako about the whole thing,” she added.
Ms. Eloisa Cruz, another member of the Community Development Council echoed Ms. Daquilanea’s pronouncements as she lauded the PMO’s efforts to make the activity safe and convenient for the residents.
“We are very thankful to our PMO because they are very supportive. Happy din ang PSA with the way how we handled and facilitated this event. We observed proper health protocols and all those stuff to consider para alam natin na safe pa rin tayo even if we do the registration here,” Ms. Cruz shared.
“I’m proud to be part of the CDC and also of all the staff of the PMO because this will not be possible without hand to hand coordination between the two,” she continued.
