Celebrating 25 Years of Service: DMCI Homes’ Pasig Medical Mission

Quadruple A developer DMCI Homes recently organized a medical mission in Barangay Rosario, Pasig City, to kick off its many Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives lined up to celebrate its 25th anniversary. 

 

The medical mission saw the participation of about 150 beneficiaries composed of residents of the host community of DMCI Homes Concrete ServicesWestbank Batching Plant. 

 

The beneficiaries were able to access a range of medical services provided by DMCI Homes under its "Kaakbay sa Kalusugan" Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative. 

 

The services offered during the day included blood pressure monitoring, blood sugar tests, neuropathy foot screenings, and uric and cholesterol screenings. Additionally, beneficiaries received free medicines suited for their specific health needs and complimentary multivitamins. 

 

The medical mission's success was made possible by the dedication of volunteers, including DMCI Homes employees and medical professionals from within the company, who generously offered their time and expertise to assist the community. 

Officials of Barangay Rosario, Pasig City led by Chairman Aquilino "Ely" Dela Cruz Sr. expressed full support for DMCI Homes’ efforts to help the community.

The event also garnered support from Barangay Rosario officials, led by Chairman Aquilino "Ely" Dela Cruz Sr., who expressed gratitude to DMCI Homes and its employee volunteers for their invaluable contributions. 

 

"We want to thank DMCI Homes for putting together this event. The Barangay council is fully behind DMCI Homes' efforts to help the community," Dela Cruz said in Filipino. 

 

Lojomay Orendain, one of those who benefited from the medical mission, thanked DMCI Homes for organizing the activity. 

 

"I want to extend my thanks to DMCI Homes for providing us the chance to get our health checked and receive treatment. This initiative means a lot to us, and we truly appreciate it," Orendain said in Filipino. 

 
Beneficiaries also got free medicines and multivitamins that matched their health needs.

Corporate Communications Manager Butch Mendizabal said as DMCI Homes celebrates its 25th anniversary, initiatives like these reaffirm the company's pledge to support and uplift those in need, reflecting its commitment to being a responsible corporate citizen. 

 

"This event is just one of the many CSR activities we're doing this year to celebrate our achievements over the past twenty-five years while making a positive impact on society," Mendizabal said.  

 

"Kaakbay sa Kalusugan" is DMCI Homes' CSR initiative, which pertains to projects about health and well-being. It is part of DMCI Homes' umbrella CSR program, "Kaakbay," which aims to foster good relations with the communities where the company operates and bring forth social activities beneficial to Filipino society.
