DMCI Homes President Alfredo R. Austria recently led officials and employees in honoring the latest awardees of Sikat, Angat, and Tumpak Quality Programs who he said had fueled the unprecedented sales success DMCI Homes has been enjoying in recent years.
Leading the awardees are the first batch of Sikat employees or those who were nominated by their internal or external customers for their excellent performance at work or for rendering quality service.
Sikat awardees include Belinda Dela Cruz, remedial accounts assistant of Legal Department; Luisito Diez, staff member of the Information Technology Department; Floyd Ban, associate property manager of Mahogany Place 3; and Edgar Sanchez, property manager of Rhapsody Residences.
For the company's year-long Tumpak construction quality management competition, the third batch of awardees are the following: Alea Residences project-in-charge Christian Tuazon (Quality Compliance Consciousness and Quality Responsiveness Awards, Category A); Brio Tower PIC Enhart Tolentino (Quality Compliance Consciousness Award, Category B); and Asteria Residences PIC John Edchel Tugado (Quality Compliance Consciousness Award, Category C).
On the other hand, Dansalan Gardens by Property Manager Mary Delot Estaris (older projects); Siena Park Residences by Property Manager Jonalyn Bendo (old projects); and The Amaryllis by Property Manager Richelle Paringit (new projects) were the top awardees for the second quarter evaluation of the property management competition Angat.
Held at the Multipurpose Hall of DMCI Homes Corporate Center last August, the company also took the opportunity to recognize employees who recently passed their respective licensure examinations.
Recognized for passing the Architecture licensure examinations were Architects Eunice Abalos, Gene Paulo Cabezudo, Jillian Dane De Guzman, Julie Anne Torres, Ann Catherine T. Patagnan, and Emmanuel Ryan Ornos, who are all members of the Design and Engineering team. Richard Jara and Mara Ferelie Olavere of Construction department were also recognized for being newly licensed architects.
Also, four members of Design and Engineering, three engineers from Construction and a management trainee of Human Resources consisted this year's list of employees who passed the Master Plumber board exams namely Allen Dale Mendoza, Clark Lenard Miranda, Samuel Paulus Tolentino, Genevieve Mae Matala, Engr. Enrico Unista, Engr. Janrey Carlo Igros, Engr. Sherelyn Tenorio, and Anna Dominique Lapira.
Project Development's Janella Santiago, on the other hand, was recognized for passing the Environmental Planning exams.
In his welcome remarks, Austria said instilling "quality" as a top of mind priority among employees has served DMCI Homes well with the company becoming synonymous to best value and superior quality homes.
"It's easier now for our sellers to sell our projects because according to them DMCI Homes is already known for its quality projects," Austria shared.
The DMCI Homes chief however was quick to point out the big responsibility that comes with the good image the company has built through quality projects over the years.
"But of course on the other side of the coin is the responsibility of making sure that we maintain that image of us. It continuously reminds us of the importance of sustaining our efforts in these quality programs," Austria said.
"The market has high expectations from us because they have seen from our previous projects that we were able to provide best value," the president stressed.
Nonetheless, Austria expressed confidence that the country's first Quadruple A builder-developer will be able to sustain its drive for excellence because of the company's quality campaign among employees that is spearheaded by the Quality Council.
"With our continuing quality campaign, we are very, very confident that we will continue to be much much better in value compared to what the other developers are offering," Austria said.
